1. Merchant of Record

All payments for Tektii subscriptions are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), who acts as our Merchant of Record. This means your billing relationship for payment processing is with Paddle, and Paddle is responsible for handling payment transactions, invoicing, and refund processing on our behalf.

2. 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

Under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, you have a statutory right to cancel your subscription within 14 days of purchase without giving any reason. This applies to your first subscription purchase.

How the 14-day period works

  • The 14-day period starts from the date of your initial purchase
  • To cancel, contact us at support@tektii.com or through your Paddle receipt
  • Refunds are processed by Paddle and returned to your original payment method
  • Refunds typically appear within 5-10 business days

3. Refunds After the Cooling-Off Period

After the 14-day cooling-off period, subscription fees are generally non-refundable. However, we may consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis in the following circumstances:

  • Service unavailability: If the platform experiences significant downtime that materially affects your ability to use the service
  • Billing errors: If you were charged incorrectly or charged after cancellation
  • Duplicate charges: If you were charged more than once for the same billing period

4. How to Cancel Your Subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Here's what happens when you cancel:

  • • Access continues until the end of your billing period
  • • No further charges will be made
  • • Your plan reverts to the free Sandbox plan

5. Annual Plans

Annual plans are billed upfront for the full year. If you cancel an annual plan within the 14-day cooling-off period, you will receive a full refund. After the 14-day period, cancellation will take effect at the end of your current annual billing period, and no partial refund will be issued for the remaining months.

6. Your Data After Cancellation

When you cancel your subscription:

  • Your data remains accessible for 30 days after cancellation, giving you time to export your strategies and backtest results
  • After 30 days, your data is permanently deleted in accordance with our privacy policy
  • Your account remains active on the free Sandbox plan

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us with the following information:

  • Your account email address
  • The date of the charge
  • The reason for your refund request

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice via email.
