What is Tektii?
Tektii is a professional backtesting platform for algorithmic traders. It lets you test trading strategies against historical market data using a fast, Rust-based engine that models realistic market conditions.

Tektii is built for programmers who trade. If you write your own trading strategies and want to test them rigorously with realistic execution modeling, Tektii is for you. We serve quantitative retail traders and small trading firms.

What programming languages can I use to write strategies?
Tektii supports any programming language. Strategies are packaged as Docker containers, so you can use Python, Rust, Go, JavaScript, C++, or any language that can run in a container and communicate via our WebSocket and REST APIs.

Our Rust-based engine is built for accuracy first and speed second. It uses parallel processing, memory-efficient data streaming, and optimized binary serialization so you can iterate quickly without compromising execution fidelity.
What market data is available for backtesting?
We provide tick-level and candlestick data. You can browse available instruments by asset class and view coverage date ranges and granularities in-platform.
Can I connect to my existing broker for live trading?
Live trading is coming soon. Tektii will support broker connectivity through our trading proxy, integrating with Alpaca and Binance. The same strategy code you use for backtesting will work identically in live trading — no modifications needed.

Is there a free plan?
Yes! Our Sandbox plan is free forever with no credit card required. You can upgrade to a paid plan anytime for more capacity and features.

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. When upgrading, you'll be prorated for the remainder of the billing cycle. When downgrading, the change will take effect at the next billing cycle.
What payment methods do you accept?
All payments are securely processed through Stripe. We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and debit cards. Annual plans can also be paid via ACH bank transfer.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your data remains accessible for 30 days after cancellation, giving you time to export everything. After that, data is permanently deleted in accordance with our privacy policy.

How does the backtest engine model execution?
Our engine models realistic market conditions including slippage, partial fills, and market impact. The same execution engine is designed to power both backtesting and live trading (coming soon), so your backtest results will match live performance.

Tektii provides comprehensive performance metrics including Sharpe ratio, Sortino ratio, Calmar ratio, maximum drawdown analysis, win/loss distribution, P&L attribution breakdown, and detailed trade-by-trade analysis.

Yes, you can export your backtest results. All plans include result data in the platform. Paid plans with API access can retrieve results programmatically.
Security
How is my strategy code kept secure?
Your strategies run in isolated Docker containers with user-scoped data isolation. All data is encrypted with 256-bit AES at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. We never access or inspect your strategy code.

All data is stored in the United States (us-central1) on Google Cloud Platform infrastructure, which maintains SOC 1/2/3, ISO 27001, and FedRAMP compliance certifications.
Does Tektii sell my data?
No. We never sell, trade, or rent your personal information or trading data to third parties. Your strategies and trading data are yours alone.
